Overview
Puglia's wine is not what most people expect.
The Primitivo grape — grown here for longer than most wine regions in France have existed — produces something dense, dark and honest. The Negroamaro is fiercer. The Verdeca, cooler and mineral. Each one tells you something specific about the land it came from.
Unwind with Wine is four days based in the baroque south, moving between the estates and the people who make these wines. Not a scheduled tour: a series of introductions, arranged by us, over very good bottles.
