Discovering Parabita from Renaissance to modern art

The tour will take place through the streets of the old town with its loggias, balconies, portals, courtyards and interesting buildings. You´ll see the Castriotas Castle, Renaissance building on the top of the city.

Next stop will be the Giannelli gallery, housed in the Ferrari palace and exposing paintings of the Neapolitan school from the XIX century and early 900. The itinerary will go on with a visit to the Monumental Cemetery, an architectural jewel, known among prestigious national and international magazines of urban design and architecture.

The tour is guided by art history professors, from the University of Salento, or by specialists in history, art history or archeology.
